Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing accounts, and building strong customer relationships within an assigned territory. This role requires frequent travel to customer locations, prospecting for new opportunities, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers within an assigned territory.
  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Conduct on-site customer visits to identify needs and present products or services.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to close sales opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through order fulfillment.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in CRM software.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of outside sales, business development, or account management experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and growing customer accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly within assigned territory.
