Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, preparing quotations, and supporting the sales process from initial contact through order completion. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, results-driven, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Prospect and qualify leads through phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product or service information.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, and sales orders.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Coordinate with operations, customer service, and management to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to nurture leads and maintain ongoing customer relationships.
  • Stay informed about company products, services, pricing, and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales, customer service, account management, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with inbound and outbound sales.
  • Experience preparing quotes and processing orders.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Ability to build rapport and develop long-term customer relationships.
