Medical Assistant

Salary: $28/hr

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to fill a part-time role in our clinic here in Richmond, CA. We are looking for someone who can fulfill office duties as well as patient care. This is a part-time, onsite position starting at $28/hr. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
• Collect payments 
• Send out billing statements to patients and insurance companies
• Complete clerical duties when assigned
• Maintain office supplies 
• Safegaurd patient privacy and confidentiality 

Qualifications: 

• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis
• Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications 
• Spanish fluency is a plus 
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance is preferred
