Carpentry Helper

 

Job Summary: Join a thriving custom cabinet and kitchen woodworking company where craftsmanship and quality come first! We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Carpentry Helper to support our skilled cabinetmakers in building beautiful custom cabinetry, kitchens, and millwork. In this role, you'll assist with cutting, sanding, assembling, and finishing wood components while learning valuable trade skills from experienced professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to grow a career in woodworking and cabinetry in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop environment.

 

Requirements:

  • Assist cabinetmakers and carpenters with cutting, sanding, drilling, and assembling cabinet components and custom millwork.
  • Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools (saws, drills, sanders, nail guns) safely and effectively.
  • Load, unload, and move lumber, panels, and finished cabinetry; assist with material prep, shop cleanup, and organization.
  • Follow measurements, blueprints, and supervisor instructions to ensure accurate, high-quality work while adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in carpentry, woodworking, cabinetry, or construction preferred; willingness to learn is a must.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools with the ability to take precise measurements (tape measure, squares).
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs in a shop/warehouse environment.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work well in a team setting.
  • Spanish is Necessary

Schedule & Pay:

  • Full Time: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM
  • $15.00P/H to Start
