Stone - Production Specialist - 2nd Shift

Salary: $18.60-$20.10

American Canyon company looking for 2nd shift production workers for their Stone Division.  Long term evaluation hire positions with OT!  

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Specialist aids in the manufacturing of goods in an assembly line.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comply with companies Safety Policies and Procedures
• Feed raw materials into production machinery
• Assemble goods on production lines
• Monitor the production process
• Carry out basic quality and testing checks
• Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse
• Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill orders
• Pack goods to be shipped
• Maintain work areas and equipment
• Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

The employee should have the following:

• No minimum education requirement
• No prior experience or training required

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee should possess the ability to:

• Prolong standing or in stationary position
• Complete repetitive movements such as typing
• Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable
• Complete repetitive movements
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)
• Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
• Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders
• Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions
