Duties:

  • Prepare, stock, and maintain breakfast buffet items to ensure quality, freshness, and presentation standards are met.
  • Offer flexibility and creativity to accommodate guest requests whenever possible.
  • Proactively engage guests with eye contact, a warm greeting, and excellent customer service.
  • Monitor food levels and replenish buffet items as needed throughout service.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Clean the kitchen, dining area, and food preparation spaces according to company standards.
  • Complete daily cleaning checklists, temperature logs, and food safety documentation accurately and on time.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stocking food and beverage supplies.
  • Ensure proper food storage, handling, and rotation practices are followed.
  • Operate food service equipment safely and effectively.
  • Support the goals of the hotel by working collaboratively with all departments.
  • Assist guests and team members in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform additional hospitality and food service duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Requirements:

  • Valid Oregon Food Handler Card required or ability to obtain upon hire (available online).
  • Valid OLCC Service Permit required or ability to obtain hire (available online).
  • Previous hospitality, food service, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout an entire shift.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks as needed.
  • Must be able to regularly lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Dress Code:

  • All black attire is required, including a black shirt, black pants, and black non-slip shoes.

Pay:

·         $17 per hour

Schedule:

  • Various shifts are available, including weekends and holidays as needed.
