An Edmonton client is seeking an Aluminum Polisher / General Labourer to join their team.
Aluminum Polisher / General Labourer Highlights:
- Sand, polish, and restore aluminum truck components, wheels, fuel tanks, and stainless steel parts.
- Operate handheld grinders, polishers, and other hand and power tools to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Prepare components for polishing by completing setup and teardown tasks, including masking surrounding surfaces.
- Clean and inspect completed components prior to final quality checks.
- Remove and reinstall truck components as required.
- Assist with general labour duties in other departments during slower production periods.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous aluminum or metal polishing experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Basic experience using hand and power tools preferred.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet quality standards.
- Physically capable of prolonged standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, climbing ladders, and operating handheld tools throughout the shift.
- CSA-approved steel-toe boots required.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality workmanship.
Hours & Wage:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- $22.00–$23.00/hour
- Company provides coveralls, hearing protection, safety glasses, and required hand and power tools
