An Edmonton client is seeking a Hydraulic Technician to join their team.

Hydraulic Technician Highlights:

  • Perform teardown, inspection, diagnosis, repair, and reassembly of hydraulic components including pumps, motors, valves, and related systems.
  • Inspect components for corrosion, wear, pitting, and other signs of failure using hand tools and measuring equipment.
  • Diagnose hydraulic and mechanical issues through visual inspection and component analysis.
  • Perform high-quality rebuilds while following established repair procedures and technical work instructions.
  • Use tools such as wrenches, micrometers, gauges, and overhead cranes (training provided).
  • Complete requisition forms, parts tracking, and repair documentation.
  • Work independently in a clean, organized shop environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience repairing hydraulic components or in a related mechanical field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in component teardown and reassembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Experience working with hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, or similar industrial hydraulic components.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical shop work.
  • Comfortable working with overhead lifting equipment (training provided).
  • Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in Canada.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work.

Hours & Wage:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • $83,000–$95,000/year (based on experience)
