An Edmonton client is seeking a Trackhoe Operator to join their team.

Trackhoe Operator Highlights:

Operate approximately 200-size trackhoes to excavate trenches for underground utility installations.
Safely perform excavation work for power, telecommunications, street lighting, and other utility projects.
Maintain proper trench alignment, depth, and spoil pile placement according to site specifications.
Work safely around existing underground utilities and utility locates.
Perform daily equipment inspections, including fluid checks, greasing, and visual inspections.
Operate equipment in varying weather conditions while following all company safety procedures.
Work closely with Foremen, Lead Hands, Operators, and Labourers to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of trackhoe operating experience.
Experience working in underground utilities, civil construction, water/sewer, basement excavation, or shallow utility projects.
Ability to excavate safe, level trenches while maintaining required depths and alignment.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and equipment operation.
WHMIS and CSTS certifications completed during onboarding.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment.

Hours & Wage:

Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (typically until 6:00 PM)
40–60+ hours per week
$30.00–$36.00/hour
Site competency test required
