The Leasing Agent is responsible for marketing available units, conducting property tours, screening applicants, and delivering an outstanding resident experience. The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, sales-oriented, and enjoys building relationships with prospective tenants.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, text, and online platforms.
• Schedule and conduct property tours for prospective residents.
• Explain rental rates, lease terms, community amenities, and property policies.
• Process rental applications and assist with applicant screening.
• Prepare lease documents and coordinate move-ins.
• Maintain accurate records in property management software.
• Follow up with prospects to maximize occupancy.
• Assist with resident retention and lease renewals.
• Monitor local market conditions and competitor pricing.
• Ensure model units and common areas are well-presented.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing, sales, customer service, hospitality, or real estate experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.
• Comfortable using CRM and property management software.
• Ability to work some weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• California real estate license is a plus but not required.
