This position offers a first-year earning potential of $50,000 - $70,000+, including base salary and commission opportunities.

What You'll Do
As an Employment Specialist, you'll manage the full recruiting and placement process while delivering exceptional service to both associates and client companies.
Recruiting & Placement
- Recruit, interview, and evaluate candidates for temporary, evaluation-hire, and direct-hire opportunities.
- Match qualified candidates with client openings in Light Industrial, Office Services, Skilled Trades, and Professional positions.
- Conduct candidate screenings, reference checks, and onboarding activities.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified talent.
- Follow up with associates throughout the employment process to ensure successful placements and retention.
Client Service
- Develop a thorough understanding of client companies, their culture, and hiring needs.
- Conduct client visits to better understand job requirements and work environments.
- Present qualified candidates quickly and accurately.
- Coordinate interviews and assist with successful onboarding.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and associates.
Marketing & Business Development Support
- Conduct Marketing Presented Candidate (MPC) calls and other outbound activities.
- Promote top candidates to prospective employers.
- Generate opportunities and appointments for our Business Development Specialist.
- Support office growth by proactively building relationships and engaging in outreach.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate candidate and client records in Avionté and other systems.
- Utilize Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications daily.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Track recruiting, placement, and activity metrics.
What Success Looks Like
Successful Employment Specialists:
- Love talking with people and building relationships.
- Have a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
- Are comfortable spending significant time on the phone.
- Consistently achieve recruiting, placement, and retention goals.
- Maintain a combined goal of approximately 100 submissions and MPC activities per week.
- Contribute to the growth and profitability of the office.
Qualifications
Required
- At least one year of recruiting, staffing, customer service, sales, human resources, or related experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits and community events.
Preferred
- Staffing industry experience.
- Experience recruiting for Light Industrial and Office Services positions.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
- Experience using an ATS or CRM system, preferably Avionté.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- This is a results-oriented position, and additional hours may be required to achieve recruiting and placement goals.
- Occasional evening and weekend hours are necessary for recruiting events, job fairs, networking activities, and community involvement.
