Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay: $25–$30/hr DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our facility and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting building systems, and responding to general repair requests in a manufacturing, warehouse, commercial, or industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine facility inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Complete general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and repairs.
- Respond to maintenance work orders and facility service requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain HVAC systems and coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs as needed.
- Install, repair, and replace facility fixtures, equipment, and components.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain maintenance logs, records, and inventory of tools and supplies.
- Assist with facility improvements, moves, and equipment installations.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read work orders, maintenance manuals, and basic blueprints.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC, electrical, or maintenance certifications.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or commercial facility experience.
- Forklift certification.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.
