Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Order Processing Specialist for a busy flooring Everett company. This role is ideal for someone with strong order entry experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

The position is primarily computer-based and focuses on processing customer orders, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with customers and internal teams via email.

Location: Everett, WA
Pay: $20.77-$25.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Assignment Length: Temporary through mid-October

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of customer orders accurately in QuickBooks and internal systems.
• Review orders for correct pricing, SKUs, quantities, and delivery information.
• Track and update order status using Excel spreadsheets.
• Communicate with customers and internal departments primarily through email.
• Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Investigate and resolve order discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records and perform general administrative support tasks.

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of high-volume order processing or order entry experience.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable performing repetitive, detail-focused work.

Preferred:

• Experience working in distribution, manufacturing, wholesale, or operations environments.
• Experience coordinating orders between customers, warehouse teams, and sales departments.

Position Details

• Temporary assignment covering an employee leave through mid-October.
• Potential for temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs.
• Low phone volume; most communication is handled through email.
