Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Quality Technician for a temporary assignment with a manufacturing company. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys quality control, testing, and maintaining accurate documentation in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Duration: July through approximately the end of the year

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products for quality and specification compliance.
• Perform quality control testing using established procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory and testing equipment.
• Accurately document inspection and test results.
• Maintain quality records and assist with batch documentation.
• Identify and report quality issues, deviations, and non-conformances.
• Assist with corrective action investigations.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, and company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support production and packaging departments as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to wear required PPE.

Preferred:

• Previous quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Experience using laboratory equipment.
• Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
