Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an experienced Production Lead to join a well-established manufacturing facility in the Everett area. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in plastic extrusion who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading teams while ensuring safe, efficient operations.

Location: Everett, WA
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour DOE
Shift: Full-Time | Rotating 12-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all production activities during assigned shifts to ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met
• Lead, coach, and develop production associates and machine operators
• Monitor workflow and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency
• Troubleshoot production, material flow, and basic equipment issues; escalate complex concerns as needed
• Ensure proper machine setup and startup procedures are followed
• Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and documentation
• Communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams
• Enforce safety procedures, quality standards, and housekeeping requirements
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Schedule

Rotating 12-Hour Shifts

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating schedule including weekends
• Typical pattern: 3 days on / 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• 5+ years of experience in extrusion or plastic injection molding
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, material behavior, and production equipment
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a high-volume production environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and production or ERP software systems
• Knowledge of workplace safety programs, quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout the production floor during 12-hour shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
