We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to support the day-to-day maintenance operations of our apartment community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in apartment maintenance, building maintenance, facilities maintenance, handyman services, or general property maintenance who is looking for a flexible part-time schedule.

The Maintenance Assistant will work alongside the on-site team to help maintain the property, complete basic repairs, and ensure the community remains safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with on-site maintenance and repair projects throughout the apartment community
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including:
    • Light electrical work
    • Drywall repairs
    • Minor property repairs
    • Moving equipment, supplies, and materials as needed
  • Support the maintenance team with apartment turns, common area upkeep, and property improvement projects
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned

Schedule

  • Part-time position averaging 20–25 hours per week
  • Fridays are required
  • Flexible scheduling for remaining work hours throughout the week
  • Additional earning opportunities may be available through participation in on-call emergency maintenance coverage

Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance, apartment maintenance, property maintenance, building maintenance, handyman work, or related fields preferred
  • Basic knowledge of light electrical work, drywall repair, and general maintenance tasks
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions
