Packaging Associate - 1st Shift

Salary: $16-$17 based on experience

Express Employment is on the hunt for qualified Packaging Associates to join a locally West Salem owned screen printing company! This position is long-term, full-time, with great benefits. This company is looking for those who can demonstrate a strong work ethic and professionalism.

 

Wage & Hours:

1^st Shift: Mon-Thurs, 6:30am-4pm, and Fri, 6:30am-10:30am, $16-$17/hour

 

Packaging job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Complete packaging requirements and quality control
• Meet quality goals and production expectations
• Read prints and verify quality
• Assist in the acquiring of materials for production if requested
• Weed and inspect jobs
• Meet quality goals and production expectations
• Complete packaging requirements and quality control
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of debris/work hazards

 

Packaging qualifications include:

• HSD or GED preferred, but not required
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift 30lbs throughout shift
• Possess strong attention to detail
• Ability and desire to learn more about equipment, materials, and processes used
• Previous experience in screening printing, primarily belt tending/packaging is highly preferred
