Position Title: Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Director
Salary Range: Starting at $50,000+
Position Summary
The Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Director is responsible for the administration, development, coordination, and oversight of the organization's Continuing Legal Education program. This position ensures compliance with applicable MCLE rules and regulations while providing high-quality educational programming that meets the professional development needs of legal professionals across the state.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Administer Wyoming's MCLE program in accordance with applicable rules and
regulations.
• Review and process CLE applications and maintain attorney compliance records.
• Review, evaluate and process CLE course accreditation applications for
compliance with accreditation standards.
• Monitor reporting deadlines, communicate with attorneys regarding compliance,
deficiencies, exemptions and extensions.
• Coordinate meetings of the Board of Continuing Legal Education and the CLE
Committee, including agenda preparation, meeting materials and follow-up.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver live, virtual and on-demand CLE programs.
• Support ten practice sections of the Bar to assist in planning, program
development and implementation of practice-specific CLE programs.
• Recruit and work with faculty, presenters, vendors and partner organizations.
• Manage program logistics, budgets, registration and educational technology.
• Develop timely and relevant educational programming based on member needs.
• Prepare CLE-related communications, reports and website content.
• Provide excellent customer service to Bar members, CLE providers and
stakeholders.
• Recommend improvements to CLE processes and programming.
Qualifications
- Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with staff, attorneys, and stakeholders.
- Experience planning and managing conferences, seminars, webinars, or virtual events.
- Knowledge of accreditation processes and educational technology platforms.
