Electrical Helper

1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Pay: $17.00/hour

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Electrical Helper for a growing manufacturing company in the Mesquite/Sunnyvale area. This position is ideal for someone with at least one year of electrical experience who is looking to build their skills in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical assembly and installation projects
• Identify wire colors and electrical materials accurately
• Bend conduit using hand benders
• Install and assist with panel terminations
• Size conduit and electrical boxes according to specifications
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings
• Safely operate power tools, saws, threaders, and cable tuggers
• Assist with electrical controls and related components
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete work assignments with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of electrical helper experience
• No apprentice license required
• Ability to identify wire colors
• Experience bending conduit by hand
• Basic blueprint reading skills
• Experience with panel terminations
• Familiarity with electrical controls
• Ability to safely use common electrical hand and power tools
• Strong attendance and reliability

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
