Counter Sales Representative – Heavy Equipment Parts

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Counter Sales Representative for a well-established client in the Savannah area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced parts professional with a background in the heavy equipment industry. We are looking for someone who can confidently identify, source, and sell heavy equipment parts while providing outstanding customer service. This is not an entry-level position.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with identifying and purchasing heavy equipment parts.
• Read and interpret parts diagrams, exploded views, and technical catalogs to accurately identify components.
• Research and cross-reference parts from multiple manufacturers and product lines.
• Process sales, quotes, special orders, and returns.
• Utilize computerized parts lookup systems and POS software.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocking as needed.
• Communicate with vendors to verify pricing and product availability.
• Deliver knowledgeable, professional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working for a heavy equipment dealership, distributor, or equipment service company.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment parts and components.
• Ability to read and interpret parts diagrams and technical documentation.
• Experience working with multiple manufacturers and product lines.
• Familiarity with POS systems and computerized parts lookup software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal training.

Preferred Experience

• Experience identifying bearings, wear parts, hydraulic components, seals, and other heavy equipment replacement parts.
• OEM and aftermarket parts knowledge is a plus.
