Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Customer Service / Account Manager on behalf of a respected manufacturing company in the Yakima Valley.
This position is ideal for a customer focused professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service. The Customer Service / Account Manager serves as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, managing accounts, processing orders, and ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, highly organized, computer proficient, and committed to delivering outstanding customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, orders, billing, and account information in a timely and professional manner
- Process and confirm customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain customer Kanban and inventory replenishment programs
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and support
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and service issues
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met
- Track customer needs and identify opportunities to improve service levels
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate customer records
- Monitor account activity and follow up on outstanding issues
- Ensure customer satisfaction through responsive and solution oriented service
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in customer service, account management, administrative support, or a related field
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude with a customer first mindset
- Customer oriented approach to problem solving and service
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or fabrication environment
- Experience managing customer accounts and processing orders
- Familiarity with inventory replenishment or Kanban systems
