FULL-CHARGE CONSTRUCTION BOOKKEEPER
Pueblo, Colorado | Full-Time | In-Office
 
An established General Contractor in Southern Colorado is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Construction Bookkeeper to oversee day-to-day accounting operations. This position requires hands-on experience with construction accounting, including job costing, progress billing, retainage, payroll, and financial reporting.
Construction accounting experience is required. Applicants without construction accounting experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Job Costing and Project Accounting
  • Progress Billing and Retainage Tracking
  • Work-in-Progress (WIP) Reporting
  • Payroll Processing
  • Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Monthly Financial Reporting
  • Coordination with outside CPA
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of construction accounting experience
  • Experience with job costing, WIP reporting, and progress billing
  • Strong QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
