General Laborer – Recycling & Recovery

Location: Salem, OR
PAY: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime Available: During busy periods, Saturdays may be required (half or full day).

This is a long-term opportunity with consistent full-time hours, overtime opportunities, and the potential to be hired on permanently. Materials are received from construction and demolition sites, and you'll help sort recyclable materials while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Duties

• Sort recyclable materials on a conveyor belt
• Separate wood, cardboard, metal, and other recyclable materials into designated containers
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to stand, bend, and perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, recycling, construction, landscaping, or other physically demanding work is a plus
• Willingness to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays, during busy seasons
