Facilities Tech (18-20/hr to start)

Manufacturing company located in Alachua, FL has an immediate opening for a facilities maintenance technician to support their facilities management team.

This position is responsible for the general maintenance of the physical building as well as the machinery/equipment.

Job Duties:

Conduct and document daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance duties.
Complete work orders on manufacturing and support equipment and fixtures in accordance with best practices.
Order and maintain inventory of component and spare replacement parts to ensure minimal equipment downtime.
Troubleshoot and repair basic equipment failures.
Assist in performing calibrations to production equipment.

Requirements:

HS Diploma or GED
2+ years of facility maintenance experience including basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
Valid driver's license with responsible driving record
Basic knowledge of computers and software
Submit to background and drug screening

Position will work Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm with pay starting in the 18 - 20/hr range. Excellent comprehensive benefits available after permanent hire.
