Client of Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Utility entry-level Billing Clerk. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with strong 10-key data entry skills who is eager to learn utility billing processes and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post water bills and other utility charges accurately and timely
• Answer incoming billing-related calls and assist customers with inquiries
• Process payments and maintain billing records
• Perform data entry using 10-key and billing software
• Assist with account reconciliations and adjustments
• Support the finance team with clerical and administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Proficient in 10-key data entry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn billing systems and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in billing or clerical work is a plus but not required
