General Labor - Furniture Rework Associate (3-Day Project)

We are seeking 14 dependable, hardworking associates for a short-term furniture rework project in Edgerton, KS. This is a great opportunity to earn $21.00/hour on a fast-paced project expected to last 2–3 days, with the possibility of extending into a third day.

Work Hours: Monday – Wednesday (if needed), 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Summary

Associates will assist with a furniture rework project involving boxed couches. Duties include opening boxes, removing existing frame rails, installing replacement components, and resealing the furniture for shipment. Work will be performed in a team environment with guidance from onsite supervisors.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities

• Open boxed couches for rework

• Remove existing frame rails

• Install replacement components

• Reseal and prepare products for shipment

• Maintain quality standards throughout the rework process

• Keep work area clean and organized

• Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions

• Work efficiently as part of a team to complete project deadlines

Minimum Requirements

• Must be able to communicate in English

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift

• Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and moving furniture as needed

• Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment

Physical Requirements

This is an active position involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving furniture throughout the day. Most heavy lifting will be handled by the onsite customer. On rare occasions, associates may be asked to help reposition or move one end of a couch with another team member to safely complete the repair.
