Accounting Controller (Temporary could go long term)
Location: Greensburg, PA
Pay: $35–$36/hour
Schedule: Flexible 1st Shift – 7:00 AM/8:00 AM – 4:00 PM/5:00 PM
Assignment Length: Temporary 3–6 Months with Potential for Long-Term Opportunity 

  ( Salary $100,000 if hired on long term)

About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Controller to provide temporary financial support for a mission-driven healthcare organization in the Greensburg area. This position will assist with daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and administrative accounting functions whil. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, QuickBooks, and financial operations, with nonprofit or healthcare experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Controller:

• Manage daily accounting functions and financial processes
• Utilize QuickBooks and accounting systems to maintain accurate records
• Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and account management
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue cycle processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and financial records
• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and other accounting projects as needed
• Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to support organizational goals
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Requirements of the Accounting Controller:

• Previous accounting, controller, or senior accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and accounting principles
• Experience with healthcare, nonprofit, or revenue cycle accounting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage confidential information
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to pass background screening and drug screening

Additional Information:

• Temporary assignment expected to last approximately 3–6 months

• Healthcare/nonprofit accounting experience is highly preferred
