Driver (Yard)

Located in Beaumont, TX

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Yard Waterer to maintain proper moisture levels throughout the yard to control dust, improve working conditions, and support daily operations. This position is responsible for operating water trucks and performing routine inspections to ensure equipment and the yard remain in safe working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a water truck to wet designated yard areas for dust control.
• Monitor yard conditions and adjust watering schedules based on weather and operational needs.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the water truck.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Refill the water truck as needed and ensure adequate water supply throughout the shift.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with general yard duties and other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• HAVE TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE A 5 SPEED MANUAL TRUCK!
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred or required depending on equipment operated.
• Experience operating heavy equipment or commercial vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to work in heat, cold, dust, and other outdoor conditions.
• Ability to safely enter and exit commercial vehicles multiple times throughout the day.
