Temporary Opportunity in the Healthcare Field

We are seeking a professional, organized, and detail oriented Office/Clerical Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy healthcare organization. This temporary position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and providing excellent support to staff, patients, and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of office experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in Human Resources is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Manage filing systems and organize documents
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and office activities
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate orders as needed
  • Assist with administrative projects and general office support
  • Support employee onboarding and Human Resources activities when needed
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other business documents
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and company information
  • Assist management and staff with clerical and administrative duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of office, administrative, or clerical experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

Preferred

  • Experience in a medical or healthcare setting
  • Human Resources experience
  • Experience with employee onboarding and personnel records
  • Familiarity with healthcare office procedures and confidentiality requirements
