Entry-Level Automotive Technician

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join a busy automotive team. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic automotive experience who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional shop environment.

Work Conditions: Automotive Service / Shop Environment
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Work Hours: 10:00 AM start time (end time provided during interview)

 

Position Summary:
The Entry-Level Automotive Technician is responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance, assisting with vehicle movement, and supporting the service department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who is interested in building a career in the automotive industry.

 

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:
Perform oil changes and other basic vehicle maintenance services
Drive and deliver customer vehicles as directed
Assist with vehicle pickup and transport as needed
Inspect vehicles for basic maintenance needs
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Provide support to technicians and service staff as needed

 

Minimum Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to safely operate customer vehicles
Basic automotive knowledge or previous automotive experience preferred
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience performing oil changes or working in an automotive shop

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Automotive service shop environment
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working around vehicles
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Exposure to automotive equipment, tools, oils, and lubricants
