Maintenance Worker

Located in Fortuna, CA

Salary: $19.50

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Maintenance Technician to help maintain residential properties in safe, clean, and fully functional condition. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working independently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Complete basic repairs, painting, and unit clean-up/prep for occupancy
• Maintain property grounds including walkways, parking lots, lawns, and landscaping
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair needs
• Track work orders, maintenance supplies, and equipment usage
• Identify and report safety concerns or property issues
• Assist with general maintenance and property improvement projects

Qualifications:

• Experience with general building maintenance, appliance repair, or landscaping preferred
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Capable of performing physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation required
• Experience in construction or building trades is a plus

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
