Business Development Specialist (Inside & Outside Sales Associate)

Location: Express Employment Professionals – Mississauga North
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Base Salary (According to Experience) plus Incentives

Position Summary

Express Employment Professionals Mississauga North is looking for a motivated Business Development Specialist to generate new business, build strong client relationships, and grow existing accounts. This role combines inside and outside sales, requiring both office-based sales activities and regular client visits within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, and client visits.
  • Schedule and conduct sales meetings to understand client hiring needs and present staffing solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate service agreements, and close new business opportunities.
  • Manage and update the sales pipeline and CRM with all client interactions.
  • Follow up with existing clients to identify additional staffing opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure successful placements.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and business functions to promote Express Employment Professionals.
  • Meet weekly and monthly sales activity and revenue targets.

Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B sales, business development, staffing, recruitment, or account management is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable with cold calling.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Combination of office work and local travel for client meetings and business development.
  • Occasional attendance at networking events and trade shows.
