Accounts Payable Clerk
Starting pay: $25-$27 DOE hourly – full time
Office hours: 7:30-4:30 (hour lunch)
Paid time off: 10 paid holidays: 40 hours sick time: 2 weeks of paid vacation (accrues 3.33 hours per pay period)
Attire: Business casual with jean Friday, professional office setting
Location: In-office – no remote work

The ideal candidate will have prior accounts payable experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
What You'll Do
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing, coding, and processing vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Obtaining necessary approvals and ensuring timely payment processing
- Processing payments through checks, ACH, and company credit cards
- Maintaining and managing vendor accounts
- Reconciling invoices and resolving discrepancies
- Auditing and processing corporate credit card expenses
- Responding to vendor questions and researching payment issues
- Preparing annual vendor 1099 forms
- Coordinating utility account starts, stops, and transfers
- Tracking projects and utility accounts using Excel spreadsheets
- Maintaining organized digital and physical filing systems
- Performing additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Experience using standard office equipment and software systems
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information
