Aerobic System Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Aerobic System Technician / Plumber to install, service, maintain, and repair aerobic septic systems and related plumbing equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with aerobic treatment units (ATUs), pumps, aerators, control panels, and wastewater treatment systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain aerobic septic systems and components.
• Diagnose and repair pumps, aerators, alarms, control panels, and spray systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and provide effective solutions.
• Read and interpret system layouts, blueprints, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and environmental regulations.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding system operation and maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with aerobic septic systems required.
• Plumbing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pumps, electrical controls, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components.
• Valid driver's license 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
