Full Job Description

We are hiring CNC Operators for a full-time manufacturing opportunity in Victoria, TX. This position is responsible for safely operating CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts according to engineering drawings, work instructions, quality standards, and production requirements.

Operators may work with CNC lathes, vertical mills, horizontal mills, or other production equipment based on operational needs. Previous CNC experience is preferred but not required for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience.

Essential Functions

• Safely operate assigned CNC equipment
• Load and unload raw materials, workpieces, fixtures, and finished parts
• Read and follow blueprints, work orders, manufacturing travelers, and work instructions
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and production efficiency
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and scales to verify product quality
• Deburr and finish parts using hand tools and deburring knives
• Operate hand drills, pneumatic tools, and other equipment as required
• Accurately count parts and complete production documentation
• Identify and report quality concerns, equipment malfunctions, and safety hazards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Cross-train and operate additional production equipment as assigned

• Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and percentages
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to recognize quality defects and take appropriate action
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to adapt to changing production priorities

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to perform physical labor throughout the shift
• Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance

Preferred:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Previous CNC machining or machine operation experience
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of an 8–10 hour shift
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and upper-body movements
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs
• Ability to push and pull carts, fixtures, materials, or equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
• Ability to safely work around moving machinery, forklifts, and production equipment
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear
