Sandblaster (2nd Shift)

Salary: $16.50/hr. and up w/ experienc

SANDBLASTER

 

2nd Shift: 3:30pm-11:00pm EST (Monday - Friday)

$16.50+ depending on experience

Will train - For higher pay, sandblasting experience required

 

 

Key Responsibilities: Masks specified areas of object, Moves product to be sand blasted in and out of sand blast booth, turns valves on equipment to regulate pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through nozzle or into tumbling barrel. Cleans product, shovels or pours abrasives such as sand, grit or shot of specified grade into machine hopper.  Examines product to ensure conformance to specifications. Perform other duties as assigned

 

Expected Results: Abrades surfaces of metal or hard composition objects to remove adhearing sale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust and dirt and to impart specified finish.

 

Skills Required: Good work ethic and work history 

 

Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a very physically demanding position.  Physically fit to perform requirement, abitity to lift up to 50 lbs.

 

Education Requirements: HS Diploma or GED or experience
