Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an experienced Office Manager / Bookkeeper for a direct hire opportunity with a successful pest control company in New Port Richey, FL.

This position is located in the owner's private home office. We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and trustworthy professional who enjoys working independently and takes pride in keeping an office running efficiently.

Please note: The home office has two dogs and one cat, so applicants must be comfortable working around pets.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Hours may vary slightly depending on workload)

Pay

  • $18.50–$24.00 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations
  • Process invoices and maintain financial records using QuickBooks Online
  • Perform accurate data entry
  • Scan, organize, and electronically file documents
  • Maintain organized paper and digital filing systems
  • Prepare and update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
  • Print reports, invoices, and other business documents
  • Answer phones and assist customers professionally
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate daily administrative tasks
  • Organize office records and maintain confidential information
  • Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of Office Manager, Bookkeeper, or Administrative experience preferred
  • Required: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Experience scanning, filing, and organizing documents
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
