Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Manual & CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both manual and CNC machining processes, with the ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical specifications. This role involves setting up and operating a variety of machines to fabricate precision parts and components, ensuring quality and accuracy at every stage of production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficiently read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.

• Accurately measure dimensions using tape measures (down to 1/32”), calipers, and micrometers.

• Set up and operate a manual Bridgeport milling machine and manual lathe for precision machining tasks.

• Set up, program, and operate a HAAS 3TM CNC milling machine using G-code and conversational programming.

• Identify and distinguish between various grades and types of steel and aluminum to ensure correct material selection.

• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and best practices.

• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other machinists to optimize production and resolve technical challenges.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a manual and CNC machinist.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Familiarity with HAAS controls preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus.
