Position Summary

Express Employment is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler / Installer to join our production and installation team. This position is responsible for assembling custom picture frames, artwork displays, and related products, as well as installing framed artwork, mirrors, signage, and decorative wall systems at customer locations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, takes pride in quality workmanship, and works well both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble custom picture frames and display products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare framing materials and hardware.
• Install framed artwork, mirrors, wall décor, signage, and specialty display systems at commercial and residential locations.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Load, transport, and unload materials and finished products.
• Review work orders and installation drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Inspect finished products for quality and resolve minor issues as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members.
• Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in assembly, carpentry, construction, installation, manufacturing, framing, or related fields preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Ability to work on ladders and safely install products at various heights.
• Ability to handle large and delicate artwork, frames, and glass products.
