Salary: Up to $40

Responsibilities
•    Perform welding and fabrication of structural steel, agricultural equipment, and custom metal products using GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW processes.
•    Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete quality work.
•    Inspect, grind, and finish welds to meet company quality standards.
•    Safely operate shop equipment, hand tools, and overhead cranes.
•    Accurately complete production documentation and maintain a clean, safe work area.
•    Work collaboratively to meet production schedules while maintaining excellent attendance.

Requirements/Qualifications
•    Journeyman Welder Certified
•    Current CWB certification (Flat Solid Wire & Metal Core).
•    Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
•    Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and metal fabrication.
•    Detail-oriented with pride in producing quality workmanship.
•    Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•    Effective English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions).
•    Legally eligible to work in Canada (LMIA sponsorship is not available).
•    Local to Central Alberta or willing to relocate.

Schedule 
•    Day Shift (currently 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
•    8–12 hour shifts, depending on production requirements

 


Health & Safety Responsibilities
•    Active participation in company safety program
•    Follow safety protocol including wearing of required PPE and understanding and application of safety policies, procedures and practices
