Mechanical Design Engineer

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a client that specializes in precision manufacturing equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced designer who enjoys developing innovative mechanical systems and working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design components and sub-systems for precision drilling machines

• Develop tooling, fixtures, and automation systems

• Create detailed mechanical component drawings using CAD software

• Prepare assembly drawings, floor plan layouts, and installation diagrams

• Perform mechanical analysis and apply mathematical principles to support design solutions

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams throughout the design process

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience designing manufacturing equipment or industrial machinery

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and computer-aided drafting (CAD)

• Strong mechanical design and analysis skills

• Applied mathematical skills with attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to interpret technical specifications and produce accurate engineering drawings

Compensation
