Automotive Lifting Equipment Service Technician
Location: Mississauga
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Tentative Start Date: 1 week of August
Our client is a leading provider of automotive lifting equipment and is seeking a motivated Service Technician to join their growing team. This field-based role is responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of automotive lift equipment at customer locations throughout the GTA.
Responsibilities
- Perform annual inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations of automotive lifting equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
- Complete service reports, work orders, and required documentation electronically.
- Train customers on the safe and proper operation of equipment.
- Identify and order required replacement parts using technical manuals.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Follow company safety policies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Ontario G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Previous automotive repair, maintenance, or field service experience is considered an asset.
- Comfortable using hand tools and a multi-meter (training provided).
- Proficient with iPads/computers and Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook and Teams.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks.
- Must own or be able to obtain basic hand tools and a multi-meter.
Working Conditions & Benefits

- Occasional overnight travel and flexible work hours as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights.
