Industrial Painter

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, blasting, masking, and priming as needed.
• Apply paint, coatings, and finishes using spray equipment, brushes, and rollers.
• Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain painting equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Perform touch-up work and repairs as required.
• Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to meet project deadlines.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality problems to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial painting experience preferred.
• Experience with airless and conventional spray equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and industrial coating systems.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and industrial environments.
• Ability to wear respirators, protective clothing, and other required PPE.
