Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a respected local client for an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper.

Pay

$27.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

The Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Payroll Administrator will be responsible for managing the firm's bookkeeping and payroll functions, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Process payroll and maintain payroll records
• Prepare quarterly and year-end payroll reports
• Process and prepare 1099 forms
• Track and record depreciation schedules
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with financial reporting and other accounting functions as needed
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive financial information

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper required
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Working knowledge of:
  • QuickBooks Desktop
  • QuickBooks Online
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Adobe Acrobat
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be bondable

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
