Warehouse Operator

Located in Southlake, TX

Salary: $18/hr

Position Purpose: Conduct manual and automated logistics and material handling tasks in goods receiving, warehouse put away, kitting / picking, packing, and shipping. Maintain strict discipline and report material movements accurately in the MRP system to represent correct stock levels in SAP. Provide material in the right quantity at the right time to the correct location.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual and automated logistic tasks in receiving, moving, putting away, picking, and material staging while handling materials according to instructions (FIFO, Shelf-life, Haz. Goods, Batteries, etc.).

• Use defined equipment according to instructions, maintain IT systems (SAP, FLX, ASM) with corresponding data, and conduct simple equipment maintenance (cleaning, 5S).

• Report inefficiencies to the leader/supervisor and Industrial Engineering, and make proposals to increase efficiency, quality, and process improvements (Kaizen).

• Conduct assigned tasks and ensure quality in terms of timing, quantity, packaging, storage location, and environmental conditions.

• Conduct tasks in a reliable, independent, and consistent manner. Deliver consistent quality and performance within expected timing while staying calm.

Key Skills Required:

• Experience with manual or automatic material handling, lifting, and moving of parts.

• Use of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).

• Ability to read and identify parts in stock and take counts.

• Inventory control and stock taking (manual or by IT systems).

• Understanding of packaging and environmental conditions on electronic (MSL) and mechanical parts.

• Basic computer skills.
