Agricultural Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00/hour (DOE)

Express Employment Professionals in Woodland is currently hiring experienced Agricultural Heavy Equipment Mechanics for a growing company specializing in the repair and maintenance of farm equipment. If you have experience working on agricultural machinery and enjoy troubleshooting complex mechanical systems, we'd love to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair a variety of agricultural equipment including tractors, sprayers, combines, industrial engines, and attachments.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, engine, powertrain, and A/C systems.
• Utilize computer diagnostic software and manufacturer service programs.
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Complete electronic service reports, inspections, warranty documentation, and time entries.
• Conduct thorough equipment inspections using mobile inspection applications.
• Communicate repair recommendations and warranty information.
• Work independently or as part of a team while promoting a safe work environment.
• Stay current on required safety certifications and training.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of heavy equipment or agricultural equipment repair experience required.
• Field service experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools.
• Valid Class B or Class C Driver's License.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Clean BG needed! NO THEFT OR VIOLENCE LAST 7YRS

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, 100 lbs frequently, and more than 100 lbs occasionally.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.

Pay & Benefits:

• $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
