Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Maintenance Technician to support daily production operations. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, managing metal chips and coolant, performing basic equipment maintenance, and operating a forklift as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove and dispose of metal chips from production equipment.
• Monitor, maintain, and replenish machine coolant levels.
• Clean and maintain work areas to support safe and efficient operations.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and assist with minor equipment repairs.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials, chips, coolant, and other supplies as required.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper handling of waste materials.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with other maintenance and facility support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or maintenance experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or the ability to become forklift certified.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Experience working with CNC machining environments.
• Knowledge of coolant systems and metal chip handling is a plus.
