We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to support daily Human Resources operations with a strong focus on payroll administration. This role is responsible for processing payroll accurately and timely while also assisting with employee onboarding, benefits administration, recordkeeping, and general HR support. The ideal candidate is dependable, confidential, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule
  • Review employee timecards for accuracy and follow up on missed punches or discrepancies
  • Maintain payroll records
  • Process payroll changes including new hires, terminations, wage changes, deductions, and benefit adjustments
  • Generate payroll reports as requested by management
  • Support year-end payroll activities including W-2 preparation and audits

Human Resources Support

  • Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees
  • Maintain employee files and HRIS records
  • Support benefits administration including enrollments and changes
  • Assist with leave administration and tracking
  • Coordinate employee communications and HR documentation
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
  • Support recruiting efforts including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of HR and/or payroll experience preferred
  • Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of payroll practices and employment laws preferred

Preferred Experience

  • Manufacturing or contract manufacturing environment experience
  • Experience with attendance tracking systems
  • Familiarity with leave administration and benefits coordination

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
