Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for Mig,Stick and Tig Welding positions for a Fabrication company based in Bradenton, FL
Duties:
- Performed MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
- Read and interpreted blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to fabricate and assemble metal parts accurately.
- Set up and operated welding machines, grinders, cutting torches, and fabrication equipment.
- Measured, cut, fitted, and welded materials to meet production and quality standards.
- Inspected completed welds for strength, appearance, and compliance with specifications.
- Repaired and modified metal parts and fabricated components as required.
- Maintained a clean and safe work area while following OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Used precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure product quality.
- Assisted with production schedules by completing projects efficiently and meeting deadlines.
- Performed routine maintenance on welding equipment and reported any equipment issues.
Requirements:
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick (SMAW) welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of welding techniques for carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Experience using fabrication tools such as grinders, saws, torches, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to perform quality inspections and ensure welds meet specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and safe welding practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and ability to meet production deadlines.
