A growing health insurance agency is seeking a Customer Support Representative to assist clients with their health insurance needs across major carriers in Ohio. This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Compensation
Hours: 20–24 per week/3 full days per week (additional hours required during open enrollment)
Pay: $20hour
Key Responsibilities
Client communication — Answer phones, greet clients, and provide support to prospective and current customers
Data management — Add and maintain client information in CRM systems
Administrative support — Coordinate kits for agent appointments and assist with various projects
Carrier coordination — Handle cancellation letters, change requests, and updates
Renewal processing — Upload monthly renewals from carriers into CRM
Seasonal assistance — Support the team during the annual open enrollment period (October–December), including some Saturdays
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and multitasking skills
Strong attention to detail and organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Prior experience in health insurance (Medicare preferred)
Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects
